titleOfInvention Hydroformylation process
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain aldehyde by hydroformylation of olefine with an Rh catalyst, by absorbing and recovering unreacted olefine and generated aldehyde from a reaction soln. and a vent gas flow by a catalytic soln., and recycling them to a reaction zone. n CONSTITUTION: Hydroformylation comprises feeding part of a liquefied hydroformylation reaction mixture from reactor 1 to separator 9, while recycling bubbles accompanied with the mixture to the steam space of reactor 1 through line 10, passing the liq. through separation medium 15, collecting almost all of aldehyde and all of C 3 , (i.e., propylene and propane), from line 18, feeding a stripped catalytic soln. from line 23 to scrubber 24, after having passed it through thin film evaporator 25a and condenser 25b if necessary, while feeding a gaseous purge from reactor 1 to scrubber 24 through line 26 to purge excessive H 2 and inert matters from line 28, allowing the stripped catalytic soln. to absorb C 3 and aldehyde, and recycling them to reactor 1 through line 27. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
