titleOfInvention Production of coated fabric
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a flexible coated fabric, excellent in resistance to washing and having waterproofness and moisture permeability by applying a mixture solution containing a polyurethane elastomer and a specific fluororesin copolymer dissolved in a water-miscible organic solvent to a fabric and wet coagulating the solution. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyurethane elastomer solution prepared by dissolving the above-mentioned elastomer in a water-miscible organic solvent (e.g., dimethylformamide) and (B) a fluororesin solution obtained by dissolving a fluororesin polymer having a fluororubber as a backbone polymer in a water- miscible organic solvent are mixed so as to provide (90:10)-(10:90) weight ratio of the resin component in the solution (A) to the resin component in the solution (B). A textile substrate is then coated with the mixture solution and wet coagulated to afford a flexible coated fabric, excellent in resistance to washing and having waterproofness, air-and moisture-permeability. The resultant fabric is widely suitable as sportswear, winter clothes, rain garments, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
