abstract PURPOSE: To obtain flexibility and control the heat quantity by combining carbon black with vinyl acetate copolymer containing vinyl acetate. n CONSTITUTION: Carbon black is combined with vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) containing vinyl acetate (VA) to form a resistor for a beating element. Vinyl acetate (VA) 25wt.% or above is contained in vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and bridged. Small rigidity, i.e., excellent flexibility, can be obtained. A resistor with a positive resistance coefficient is obtained, thereby the temperature by self-heating does not rise to the temperature at which the resistance value of the heating resistor is quickly changed or above, and the heat quantity can be controlled without measuring the temperature from the outside. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
