NEW MATERIAL:A protein having inhibiting activity against phlogogenic phospholipase A 2 obtained by enzyme treatment of human complement C 3 . n USE: Anti-inflammatory drug with a slight adverse effect or remedy of systemic lupus erythematosus, chronic rheumatism or bronchial asthma, etc. n PREPARATION: For instance, 0.5 M NaCl is added to human C 3 and heated at 37°C for several min, then immobilized enzyme in which trypsin is immobilized to agarose is added and reacted for 10min with shaking, thus the immobilized enzyme is precipitated by centrifuge and supernatant is collected, then applied to high-performance liquid chromatography and eluted with tris buffer solution, thus a protein having inhibiting activity against phospholipase A 2 derived from synovial fluid of human chronic rheumatism patient. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
