PURPOSE:To obtain the subject photoconductor having stability against heat and light, and sufficient sensitivity even at a long wavelength region (a near infrared region) by comprising mixed crystals of specified phthalocyanines contg. different center substances respectively in the photoconductor. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductor having the sensitivity at a visual and an infrared regions comprises the mixed crystals of the phthalocyanines contg. the different center substances respectively. In formula I, A is a substance capable of forming a covalent bond or a coordinate bond with phthalocyanine. The substance A is composed of H2, Li, Na, K, Cu, Ag, Au, Be, Mg, Ca, Ba, Zn, Cd, Hg,..., etc., are group IIa, IIIa, IVa, Va, VII, Ib, IIb, IIIb, IVb, VIb elements or a compd. contg. its element such as a halide, an oxide or cyanate, etc. Thus, the photoconductor is applicable to the charge generating substance of the photoconductor having the sufficient sensitivity for a long wavelength light source such as a near infrared sensor or a semiconductor laser, etc. |
