abstract |
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compounds useful as the raw materials for synthesis of pesticides and medicines in a good yield in a short time while restraining by-products by reacting a benzenesulfonyl halide derivative with an alkali metal fluoride in the presence of a catalyst. n CONSTITUTION: A benzenesulfonyl halide derivative of formula I (X and Y are halogen; n is 1-5; Provided that the case where all the Xn are F is excluded) is reacted with an alkali metal fluoride using a quaternary phosphonium salt of formula R 4 P + Z - (R is alkyl, aryl or phenyl; Z is halogen) or a 4 aminopyridinium salt of formula II (R 1 to R 3 are alkyl; Q is halogen) as a catalyst at ≥ room temperatures, preferably 100-250°C to obtain the objective compound of formula III (m and l are 1-5; m, l and n satisfy m+l= n). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
