titleOfInvention Production of silicone composition and cosmetic and lustering material containing the same composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title pasty or greasy composition improved in evenness, touch and smoothness by distilling the organic solvent from a mixture of a low-viscosity silicone oil with a specified organosilica sol and mixing the residue under an applied shear. n CONSTITUTION: A mixture is obtained by mixing a low-viscosity silicone oil (A) of the formula R a SiO (4-a)/2 [wherein R is an (un)substituted 1-6C monovalent hydrocarbon group, and a is 1.8-2.3] and a viscosity (at 25°C) ≤100cSt with an organosilica sol (B) prepared by dispersing spherical porous trimethylsilylated silica particles of a mean particle diameter of 10-100μm, a specific surface area ≥300m 2 /g, a trimethylsilyl group density of 0.5-10mol/m 2 , an alkoxy group density of 0.5-10μmol/m 2 and a silanol group density of 0.5-5μmol/m 2 . The organic solvent is removed from this mixture, and the residue is uniformly mixed under an applied shear to obtain the title composition comprising 50-95%, desirably, 70-90% component A in which 5-50%, desirably, 10-30% spherical porous silica is uniformly dispersed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
