titleOfInvention | Method of providing support surface antithrombotic formability |
abstract | PURPOSE: To form a surface with antithrombotic formability, by immersing a support with a film of surface active agent into a heparin solution and by forming a heparin treated layer due to reaction of heparin with a surface active agent film. n CONSTITUTION: pH in a surface active agent(SAA) solution in a solvent is adjusted at higher than 7.5, a support is immersed in it for a sufficient time to be coated with SAA. The coated support is immersed into a solution of an antithrombotic formable agent. Preferable SAA is ammonium salts, for example salts of primary, secondary or tertiary amines, or quaternary slat, which is soluble is aqueous medium and contains at least one alkyl group of about 8-20 carbon atoms. A more preferable salt is a salt of the secondary amine further containing at least one alkyl group of about 1-4 carbon atoms, especially preferably salt is dodecylmethyl ammonium chloride. Preferable antithromlotic chemicals are sulfonated polysaccharide, such as dextran sulfate and, more preferable, heparin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
