titleOfInvention Production of denitrification catalyst
abstract PURPOSE: To improve the denitrification action of a catalyst by calcining titanium oxide mixed or impregnated with an active metal oxide at 450-650°C, pulverizing the calcined product, mixing the resulting powder with II type anhydrous gypsum and subjecting the mixture to molding, drying and calcining. n CONSTITUTION: Titanium oxide is mixed or impregnated with at least one kind of active metal oxide and calcined at 450-650°C. The calcined product is pulverized, the resulting powder is mixed with II-type anhydrous gypsum and this mixture is molded, dried and calcined to produce a denitrification catalyst. The active metal oxide may be any known active metal oxide such as the oxide of V, W, Mo, Fe, Cu, Cr or Mn. When the denitrification catalyst is formed into a honeycomb shape, glass fibers or mineral fibers may be used as the skeleton material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
