titleOfInvention Formation of self-cleaning surface
abstract PURPOSE:To easily remove oil by blasting the surface of an iron-based heat- resistant metal, heating the surface to form an oxidized scale layer, and then depositing multiple oxides of Mn, Cu, and Ce. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an iron-based heat-resistant metal is blasted to roughen and activate the surface, and then heated to form an oxidized scale layer having specified thickness. multiple oxides of manganese, copper, and cerium is then deposited in the oxidized scale layer by using a soln. of the nitrate, carbonate, or acetate of manganese, copper, and cerium to form a self-cleaning surface. The multiple oxides of manganese, copper, and cerium is an oxidation catalyst having extremely strong oxidizing capacity, and has the oxidation activity and oil decomposing capacity at a relatively low temp. of <=400 deg.C.
