titleOfInvention Emulsifying dispersion method
abstract PURPOSE:To carry out emulsifying dispersion without mixing-in of foams so as to prevent troubles in an application process of a resulting emulsion by using a high speed mixing type dispersing apparatus mixing with a specified rotating frequency, and specifying the viscosity of the resulting emulsion 5 minutes after the start and at the time of finishing dispersion. CONSTITUTION:In dispersion method of an oil-in-water type emulsion such as a photosensitive material, mixing is carried out by a high speed mixing type dispersing apparatus with rotating frequency of 1000-2000rpm. The viscosity of the emulsion is set to be <=30000cps after 5 minute dispersion under this mixing condition of the rotating frequency, and to be higher than that but at <5000-100000cps. Foams are thus not formed in the mixing process for emulsifying dispersion and high viscosity is attained and as a result, troubles in an application of the resulting emulsion such as photosensitive material on a support is prevented.
