titleOfInvention Coating method with curable organopolysiloxane
abstract PURPOSE: To improve a non-adhesive property by applying a specific curable organopolysiloxane on the surface of a support and then curing it with polymerization accelerating high energy radiation. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A polysiloxane as shown in formula I [R 1 is a 1-4C lower alkyl, phenyl, R 2 is R 1 in part and a hydroxyl functional residue in other 70-100% as shown by formulae II-III, 30-0% of a residue shown by formula IV (R 3 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, R 4 is H, a 1-10C alkyl, (n) is 0-10 and (m) is 0-40) is a (substituted) 2-20C alkyl, H residue, containing hydroxyl functional R 2 residue of the average molecular number of 1.8 or more, (a) is 1-1000 and (b) is 0-10], (B) (meth)acrylic acid of 0.4-0.9 molar quantity to an OH group, (C) monocarboxylic acid of 0.6 molar quantity or less to an OH group, not containing a double bond effective for polymerization, (the total molar quantity of acid is 1.0 or less) are reacted in esterifying conditions to obtain a curable organopolysiloxane modified by (meth)acrylic ester groups. The organopolysiloxane is applied to the surface of a support and then cured by the operation of polymerization accelerating high energy radiation. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
