abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a polyamide resin composition having a low absorptivity an a good balance between mechanical properties and impact resistance by adding a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and a thermoplastic elastomer to a resin composition based on a polyamide resin and a polyester resin. n CONSTITUTION: The title polyamide resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. mixture 5-95wt.%, desirably, 15-85wt.% polyamide resin of (desirabsly, nylon 6 or nylon 66 of a molecular weight of, desirably, 10000-50000) with 95-5 pts.wt., desirably, 85-15 pts.wt. polyester resin [desirably, polyethylene terephthalate or poly(ethylene terephthalate/cyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate) copolymer of a molecular weight of, desirably, 10000-50000], 0.01-5 pts.wt., desirably, 0.02-2 pts.wt. tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (desirably, pyromellitic dianhydride) and 1-40 pts.wt., desirably, 5-25 pts.wt. thermoplastic elastomer (e.g., Tufftec H1041, a product of Asahi Kasei). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
