titleOfInvention Flame-retardant resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition imparted with excellent frame- retardance without lowering the thermal stability in molten state, etc., by compounding a thermoplastic polyester resin composition containing a phthalimide derivative, an organic halide, etc., with a specific amount of a specific oxazoline compound. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate) with (B) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a phthalimide derivative of formula I or formula II (p is 0-15; R 11 is 2-15C hydrocarbon group; R 12 is 1-20C hydrocarbon group; R 13 -R 16 are H, halogen, etc.; m and n are 0-15; R 21 and R 23 are 2-15C hydrocarbon group; R 22 is 2-15C hydrocarbon group, etc.; R 24 -R 31 are H, etc.), (C) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of an organic halide in terms of halogen element, (D) 0.1-20 pts.wt. of an antimony compound in terms of antimony element and (E) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a compound of formula III (D is bivalent organic group; k is 0 or 1; X is bivalent organic group; etc.). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
