CONSTITUTION: This ionic compound has a formula (CnXan+1 Y)2 N<-> ,M<+> wherein X stands for a halogen; n for a number from 1 to 4; Y for CO group or S02 group; M for an alkali metal; the group X for chlorine, bromine, or iodine, preferably fluorine; and M for lithium or sodium. As a result an electrode for a battery can be produced.
