titleOfInvention Antibacterial lubricating agent composition
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition capable of reducing the dynamic frictional force of a belt conveyor and completely killing microorganisms preset on a conveyor in food plants by incorporating a salt of a fatty acid having a specified number of carbon atoms into a guanidine bactericide. CONSTITUTION:0.1-50wt.%, preferably 1-20wt.%, guanidine bactericide (A) (e.g., chlorohexidine gluconate or a polyhexamethylenebiguanidine salt) is mixed with 1-80wt.%, preferably 5-50wt.%, 6-10C fatty acid salt (B) (e.g., potassium caproate or a capric acid monoethanolamine salt) and, if necessary, a solvent, such as water, an alcohol or an ether, a sequestering agent, such as ethylenediaminetetraacetate, and a nonionic surface active agent, thus giving the title composition. This composition may be diluted to a suitable dilution before use depending upon the speed of a conveyor belt, the type of bottle or can, etc.
