abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition of excellent solution stability, which can give a coating film excellent in weathering resistance, alkali resistance, boiling water resistance and adhesion by mixing a specified aqueous fluorinated polymer with a curing agent, water and an ultraviolet absorber. n CONSTITUTION: An aqueous fluorinated polymer prepared by neutralizing at least part of the carboxyl groups of a carboxylated fluorinated polymer obtained by reacting a hydroxyalkyl copolymer obtained by copolymerizing, for example, a fluoroolefin (e.g., chlorotrifluoroethylene) with a hydroxyalkyl vinyl ether (e.g., hydroxybutyl vinyl ether) and, optionally, other monomers (e.g., ethyl vinyl ether) with a dibasic acid anhydride (e.g., succinic anhydride) with a basic compound (e.g., triethylamine) is mixed with a curing agent (e.g., methyl/ethyl- etherified methylolmelamine), water and an ultraviolet absorber (e.g., Tinuvin 1130). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
