EXAMPLE:2,5-Bis(p-ethenylbenzylthio)-1,3,4-thiadiazole. USE:Useful as a monomer capable of providing optical materials, and further coatings, inks, adhesives, vulcanizing agents for rubbers, photosensitive resins, crosslinking agents, etc. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula V (M1 is H or alkaline metal) is reacted with a compound expressed by formula VI (X5 is Cl or Br).
