abstract PURPOSE: To provide a medicine for prevention of snore for application to mucosa of nasopharynx containing sorbitol, pyrolidonecarboxylic acid and hyaluronic acid as the active components and free from side effects. n CONSTITUTION: One or more of 0.05-5, preferably 0.1-1.0wt.% sorbitol, 0.05-5, preferably 0.1-1wt.% pyrolidonecarboxylic acid and 0.1-5000, preferably 1-3000ppm hyaluronic acid respectively having agreeable-sweet taste and moisture-retention effect are used. The above-mentioned substances are formed into an isotonic aqueous solution, preferably using organic and inorganic salts and conventional disinfectant and antiseptic are added thereto, thus preparing and obtaining the objective medicine. Application is carried out to nasal caving or pharynx using an aerosol, atomizer, dropping pipet, etc., before bedding or in bed.
