abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title film having excellent adhesion to various coatings, inks, etc., by forming a primer layer prepd. by crosslinking a COOH group-contg. acrylic copolymer resin with a specified compd. on the surface of a polyester film. n CONSTITUTION: A primer layer prepd. by crosslinking a COOH group-contg. acrylic copolymer resin [wherein methyl methacrylate/methyl acrylate (molar ratio) is in the range of 0.5-3 and the sum of both components is 50-98% of the whole)] with an aziridine compd. [e.g., compd. of formula I (wherein n is 1-10), formula II, etc.] and/or a polyglycidyl compd. (e.g., compd. of formulas III, IV, etc.) is formed on at least one surface of a polyester film.
