titleOfInvention Self-leveling material
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a self-leveling synthetic resin material having high strength, light weight and excellent applicability and useful for the leveling of bed concrete of building, storehouse, etc., by adding a specific amount of powder of light-weight aggregate to an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective self-leveling material is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of an epoxy resin (preferably a bisphenol A epoxy resin, etc., which is liquid at normal temperature) with (B) 5-80 pts.wt. of powder of light- weight aggregate having particle diameter of 20-500mum and an oil absorption of <=0.05 and composed of two or more kinds of components having a specific gravity of >=1.1 and of <=1.0 (composed mainly of silica, alumina, etc.) and (C) a curing agent, preferably amines having low viscosity (preferably <=1,000cps at normal temperature) and curable at normal temperature (e.g., diethylenetriamine or triethylenetetramine) and, as necessary, (D) a defoaming agent, a surfactant, a filler, etc.
