titleOfInvention Monomer composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition consisting of a vinyl monomer having a specific structure and radical copolymerizable monomer having high refractive index and capable of providing a resin having high refractive index and being excellent in transparency, hardness, weather resistance, coloring properties, etc. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed composition obtained by blending (A) a vinyl monomer expressed by the formula (M is tetravalent metal atom or >P-; X is halogen; l is 4 when M is tetravalent metal atom and 3 when M is >P-; n is 1-l; i is 0-4; j is 0-5) with (B) a radical polymerizable monomer being other monomer copolymerizable with the component A and having ≥1.56 refractive index of homopolymer, preferably at the ratio of the component A of 30-60wt.%. Furthermore, as the component A, e.g., P-vinylphenyldiphenyl phosphine, etc., is used and as the component B, e.g., benzyl methacrylate is used. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
