titleOfInvention Composition for removing asbestos
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a composition to reduce the amount of asbestos emitted into atmosphere at the time of stripping the asbestos by blending a specific amount of secondary alcohol alkoxy compound, polyoxyethylene-oxypropylene block copolymer and the like. n CONSTITUTION: (A) 1 to 20wt.% of a 12-20C secondary alcohol alkoxy compound having a molecular weight of 500 to 700, (B) 0.1 to 20wt.% of a polyoxyetylene- oxypropylene block copolymer containing 8 to 12wt.% of ethylene oxide and having an average molecular weight of 200 to 1800, (C) 10 to 60wt.% of a random polyoxyethylene-oxypropylene glycol ether containing 40 to 75wt.% of ethylene oxide and having an average molecular weight of 1500 to 3500, and, if necessary (D) water are blended to obtain a concentrated composition, which is diluted with 2 to 5 volume of water. This dilute aqueous solution is applied over asbestos to be stripped from a supporter. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
