titleOfInvention Photopolymerizable composition
abstract PURPOSE: To improve sensitivity in both of UV and visible regions by incorporating a photopolymn. initiator into a binder mixture composed of a specific ester compd. and a (meth)acrylic acid/methyl (meth)acrylate copolymer. n CONSTITUTION: The ester compd. of a addition-polymerizable compd. having at least one ethylenic unsatd. double bond, a styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer, and alcohol having an ethylenic unsatd. bond, the copolymer having the constituting unit formed of the (meth)acrylic acid and the constituting unit formed of the methyl (meth)acrylate, and a sensitizing dye, hexaaryl biimidazole and thiol compd. at 20-60wt.% in the total solid content in the compsn. as the photopolymn. initiator are incorporated into the above-mentioned compsn. The sensitivity to light sources of UV and visible regions is improved in this way and the excellent developability and high image quality are obtd. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
