abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound for e.g. an antistatic agent for textile products industrially advantageously by reacting a dicarboxylic acid with an alkoxylated tert. amine, mixing the formed polyester with a phosphoric ester and reacting the mixture with an alkylene oxide. n CONSTITUTION: A dicarboxylic acid represented by formula I (wherein R is a 1-10C aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic group is polycondensed with an alkoxylated tert. amine represented by formula II [wherein R 1 and R 2 are each H or CH3; R3 is a 1-20C (substituted)alkyl; m and n are each 1-20; and m+n=2-50] to form a polycondensate of a degree of polymerization of 2-50. Next, the formed amino-containing polyester is mixed with a mono- and/or di-alkyl phosphoric esters of formula III [wherein R 4 is a 6-22C (substituted) alkyl; and A is a 2-4C alkylene] and/or formula IV at 50-80°C in the presence of water, and the obtained mixture is reacted with a 2-4C alkylene oxide at a temperature of 80-100°C under a pressure of 1-5 bar to obtain the purpose compound having 1-10 alkylene oxide groups. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
