abstract PURPOSE: To provide a slightly combustible aerosol product, giving a preferable spraying state, preventing the danger of skin damaging and useful for human bodies and animals by charging a pressure-resistant container with one liquid composition comprising a specific combustible liquid gas and specified amounts of an active ingredient and an evaporation-inhibiting agent. n CONSTITUTION: (B) 0.1-12wt.% of an active ingredient such as diethyltoluamide suitable as a repellent for human bodies and (C) 0.1-10wt.% of an evaporation- inhibiting agent having a high flash point are added to (A) a component system comprising (i) 30-60vol.% of water, (ii) 20-60vol.% of ethanol and/or isopropanol and (iii) 11-40vol.% of combustible liquid gases at 20°C, followed by homogeneously dissolving the mixture to provide one liquid aerosol composition. Said composition is charged in a pressure-resistant container for aerosols and such a spraying device as giving a spraying amount of 0.1-0.5g/sec at 25°C is attached to the pressure-resistant container to provide the objective product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
