abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain excellent spectral absorption characteristics, heat resistance and humidity resistance by bringing a pyrazolotriazine dye for thermal transfer recording to specific constitution. n CONSTITUTION: A pyrazolotriazine dye is represented by general formula [I] [wherein R 1 and R 2 are respectively a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group and may be bonded mutually to form a 5- or 6-membered ring, R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and R 6 are respectively a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a substituted alkoxy group, R 1 and R 4 , and R 2 and R 6 may be bonded mutually to form a 5- or 6-membered group, R 7 is a monovalent substituent, Z is a non-metal atom group necessary for forming a heterocyclic 6-membered ring containing three nitrogen atoms and this 6-membered ring may have a substituent].
