abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a vitamin and mineral supplier excellent in shelf stability and having high absorbability without deteriorating taste and appearance by blending specified amts. of β-carotene, vitamin C and riboflavin with a specified salt. CONSTITUTION: Vitamins, that is, 10-300%RDA (recommended daily allowance) β-carotene coated with dextrin, gum arabic, etc., 10-300%RDA vitamin C and 10-300%RDA riboflavin are blended with a mixture of 10-100%RDA iron-sugar complex such as iron-sucrose.malic acid or iron-fructose.malic acid or iron- gluconic acid/ascorbic acid with 10-100%RDA calcium source such as calcium chloride or calcium carbonate, at least 0.05wt.% flavor or at least 3wt.% fruit juice and degassed water to obtain the objective nutritious vitamin and mineral supply drink or drink concentrate.
