titleOfInvention | Dispersion for aqueous varnish for press coat |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject dispersion having excellent miscibility to alcohol and good balance of collapsing properties and gloss, etc., containing aqueous dispersion derived from copolymerizing monomeric mixture containing glycidyl group-containing unsaturated monomer in the presence of specific emulsifying stabilizer as principal component. n CONSTITUTION: At first, a mixture of unsaturated monomer containing ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g. acrylic acid) is copolymerized to obtain a resin having 50-300 acid value. Next, (B) a mixture of unsaturated monomer containing 0.05-0.5wt.% glycidyl group-containing unsaturated monomer (e.g. glycidyl acrylate) is copolymerized in the presence of (A) a neutralized resin obtained by neutralizing the resin preferably at 30-80°C to obtain an aqueous dispersion and the aimed dispersion is obtained by using the aqueous dispersion as a principal component. Besides, weight ratio of the neutralized resin A to the monomer mixture B is preferably 20/80-50/50. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
