titleOfInvention Analysis of blood data
abstract PURPOSE: To efficiently make exact inspection by inputting the data from a blood cell counter to an analyzing apparatus and deciding that any of nucleated red blood cells, platelet agglutination and deposition of fibrin affects the counting of white blood cells. n CONSTITUTION: The blood cell counter 1 dilutes and hemolyzes the blood, reduces the red blood cells and platelets, determines a white blood cell grain size distribution from a white blood cell sample, and inputs the same to the analyzing apparatus 2. The apparatus 2 sets the boundaries between the ghost components and small-size particles in the grain size distribution and sets the number of particles at the boundaries as YWL and the size of the particle having a peak value in the distribution area of the small-sized particles as XSCP. The apparatus sets the boundaries between the red blood cells and platelets, the number of the particles in the boundaries as YPU, a to c as constants and decides that any of the nucleated red blood cells, platelet agglutination and deposition of fibrin affects the counting of the white blood cells in the case of equation I or II. The blood inspection is exactly and efficiently executed in this way. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
