titleOfInvention Afterfoaming pack stock
abstract PURPOSE: To provide an afterfoaming aerosol pack stock causing no foaming in its delivery, good in application feel, ready to remove by water and also giving warm feel, containing clay mineral(s). n CONSTITUTION: The objective pack stock containing ≥0.1wt.% (pref. 0.1 to 3.0) wt.% of at least one kind of clay mineral selected from montmorillonite, bentonite, hectorite and caolinite, etc. As a foaming agent, 2 to 7wt.%, based on the whole amount of the final pack stock, of propane, 1-butane or CFC-11 is used, being put into a specific vessel separated from that for a propellent and subjected to agitation mixing to obtain the objective product. Afterfoaming means that, when the present pack stock is delivered under static atmospheric conditions at 20°C from an aerosol can, no foaming can virtually observed with the naked eye and white foams are gradually developed in ≥30sec. When the present pack stock is applied on the skin, the vaporization of the foaming agent will become earlier due to the skin temperature, thus effecting gradual foaming. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
