titleOfInvention Emulsifier for production of microcapsule, microcapsule formed by using this emulsifier and its production as well as no-carbon pressure-sensitive copying paper formed by using this microcapsule
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the emulsifier for production of high-strength microcapsules by using a quadratic copolymer consisting of benzyl (meth)acrylate, diisobutyrene, styrene and maleic anhydride. CONSTITUTION:The quadratic copolymer consisting of the benzyl (meth)acrylate, the diisobutyrene, the styrene and the maleic anhydride is used as the emulsifier for production of the microcapsules contg. a water-soluble high-polymer material as effective components. The total contents of the benzyl (meth)acrylate and the diisobutyrene per 100mol% monomer compsn. of this quadratic copolymer are specified to 0.1 to 50mol%, the styrene is to 5 to 59.9mol% and the maleic anhydride is to 40 to 50mol%. A microcapsule slurry of a high solid content concn. and low viscosity is obtd. if this copolymer is used and an in-site method is adopted. The high-strength microcapsules are thus obtd.
