Improved method of producing amide-formaldehyde microcapsule, and photosensitive microcapsule produced thereby |
abstract |
PURPOSE: To produce microcapsules having discrete capsule walls by sealing particles of an oily core material phase in an amine formaldehyde condensate which is synthesized by condensation polymn. of an amine and formaldehyde. CONSTITUTION: An emulsion of an oily core material phase is produced in a continuous aqueous phase, which is containing a prewall material comprising an isocyanate acrylate or cyanoacrylate which reacts with the aqueous phase to form a prewall material around the oily core material phase. Then the particles of the oily core material phase are sealed in an amine-formaldehyde condensate synthesized by condensation polymn. of an amine and formaldehyde. Thus, microscapsules having discrete capsule walls are formed. The oily phase or the aqueous phase may further contains a catalyst to accelerate the reaction rate of water and the diisocyanate or the like. |
