titleOfInvention Silver halide photographic sensitive material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrahigh-contrast photosensitive material small in a number of black spots and dependency on light sources and good in image quality, such as extended or contracted in the grain net work, by incorporating a dyestuff of ≤420nm λmax and at least one of specified compounds. n CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive material contains the dyestuff of ≤420nm λmax and at least one of the compounds represented by formulae I and II in which each of Z 21 and Z 22 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a benzooxazole or quinoline ring or the like; each of R 21 and R 22 is alkyl or aralkyl; X is an electric charge balancing counter ions; n is 0 or 1; Z 31 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a thiazoline or dihydroquinoline or the like; Q is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a rhodanine or 2-thiobarbituric acid ring; each of R 31 and R 32 is H, alkyl, or aryl; and p is 0 or 1, thus permitting image quality to be enhanced. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
