NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I [wherein A is N, C-H, C-X (wherein X is a halogen); R 1 is a lower alkyl, a cycloalkyl, a (substituted) aryl, etc.; R 2 and R 7 are each H or a lower alkyl; R 3 , R 5 and R 6 are each H, a lower alkyl, an aminoalkyl, etc.; R 4 is H, a lower alkyl, OH, amino, etc.; R 8 is H, nitro or a (substituted) amino; and A and R 1 are bonded together to form C-CH 2 - CH 2 -CHR 9 (wherein R 9 is H or a lower alkyl), etc.], with a tautomeric formula II. n EXAMPLE: 9-Cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-7-(3-amino-azetidinyl)-2,3,4,9- tetrahydroisothiazolo[5,4-b]quinolin-3,4-dione. n USE: Used for treating microbial infectious diseases. n PREPARATION: A compound of formula III is reacted with an azetidine compound of formula IV. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
