titleOfInvention Capsule loading technique
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain microcapsules having a slowly releasing property by soaking a capsule membrane which is dehydrated and has selective permeability into an aqueous soln. of a specific concn. of a solute to diffuse the soln. in an internal space thereof. CONSTITUTION: The membrane comprising polyvinylamine, aminated polysaccharide, polyaminated polypeptide or the like and having selective permeability is dehydrated and deflated to preliminarily mold capsules. As a dehydrating agent, an organic solvent such as ethanol and methanol or an aqueous soln. of high osmotic pressure is used and the microcapsules are washed by these solutions to be dehydrated. These dehydrated and deflated capsules are soaked in a large quantity of a soln. containing chemically active substances such as medicine, hormone and vitamin to charge the active substances in an internal space thereof. Microcapsules slowly releasing useful substances can be efficiently obtained by the method described above.
