abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare a formulation for parenteral administration which is in the form of a liposome introduced into lymphatic vessels according to interstitial administration by using a mixed micelle as a carrier. n CONSTITUTION: This formulation for parenteral administration, especially intramuscular, subcutaneous or intradermal administration is prepared by including an immunomodulator such as a low-molecular weight active substance having about >10 4 , especially >10 6 partition coefficient in octanol/water and ≤10,000, especially 5,000 molecular weight except and oil-soluble vitamin, e.g. (all-E)-3,7- dimethyl-9-(2-trifluoromethyl)-6-(nonyloxy)phenyl-2,4,6,8-nonatetraenoic acid, a cytostatic agent, an antiinfectious agent and a contrast agent in a mixed micelle (a homogeneous aqueous solution of a cholanic acid derivative and a lipid). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
