titleOfInvention | Termite-proofing aqueous suspension formulation |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject formulation consisting essentially of an insecticide selected from organophosphorus-based insecticides, carbamate-based insecticides, etc., an alkyd resin and nonionic surfactant and excellent in persistence of termite-proofing effects and safety without any environmental pollution. n CONSTITUTION: A formulation containing at least one insecticide selected from the group consisting of organophosphorus-based insecticides, carbamate-based insecticides and pyrethrin-based insecticides, an alkyd resin and a nonionic surfactant. The alkyd resin in a thermosetting resin prepared by modifying a condensate of a polybasic acid with a polyhydric alcohol with oils, fatty acids, etc. An alkyd resin, modified with a drying oil, as necessary, dissolved in a solvent and having ≥30% nonvolatile content thereof, ≥N Gardner viscosity, 20 to 60% phthalic anhydride content and 20 to 70 oil length is especially preferred as the alkyd resin. The amount thereof used is preferably 0.5 to 100% based on the insecticide and the surfactant is used in an amount of 0.1 to 4wt.% in the formulation. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
