PURPOSE: To obtain a molding compsn. excellent in low-temp. toughness by compounding a specific polydiorganosiloxane-polycarbonate block copolymer, a specific thermoplastic arom. polycarbonate, and a rubber in a specified ratio. n CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises 10-98 pts.wt. polydiorganosiloxane- polycarbonate block copolymer comprising 75-97.5 wt.% arom. carbonate structural units and 25-2.5 wt.% polydiorganosiloxane structural units and having a wt. average mol.wt. of 10,000-200,000, 2-90 pts.wt. thermoplastic arom. polycarbonate contg. difunctional carbonate structural units represented by the formula (wherein R 1 and R 2 are each H, halogen, 1-8C alkyl, 5-6C cycloalkyl, 6-10C aryl, or 7-12C aralkyl; m is 4-7; X is C; and R 3 and R 4 are each H or 1-6C alkyl), and 0.5-30 pts.wt. rubber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
