PURPOSE: To obtain an antitumor composition useful for treating ulcer and other gastrointestinal injuries, not gelatinizing in the mouth, comprising a medicine for forming an ulcer attaching protective complex under an acidic condition in an effective amount in terms of treatment and an alkali substance. n CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises a medicine (e.g. sucralfate) forming an ulcer attaching protective complex under an acidic condition in an effective amount in terms of treatment and one or more alkali substances (e.g. MgOH, A1OH, CaCO 3 , etc.). The total amount of the alkali substance mixed is an amount sufficient for forming the complex in an oral cavity zone and preventing adhesion to mucosa of cheek, e.g. an amount for sufficiently providing acid neutralizing strength of about 0.5-10 milliequivalent, more preferably 0.5-5 milliequivalent acid. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO |
