titleOfInvention Wavelike fiber and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a wave fiber having luster and crispiness as well as bulkiness, light weight and water retaining ratio and suitable for summer knit product having coolness by waving only both ends of rectangle fiber and leaving the center part in straight state. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed wavelike fiber obtained by spinning a flat fiber having rectangle cross section and applying relaxation heat treatment to the flat fiber in undrawn state or state leaving shrinkage factor by boiled water of ≥20% by incomplete drawing and having ≥6 flat ratio (maximum width/ maximum thickness) of cross section of fiber constructed from a homopolymer component, having length of both ends ≥5% longer than length of the center part and formed into a wavy pleat at both ends in length direction. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
