abstract PURPOSE: To improve defect caused by carbon and to cast a product having high quality by manufacturing a lost foam pattern of material mixing polymethylmethacrylate with polystyrene. n CONSTITUTION: As the raw material of the lost foam pattern, the material mixing the polymethylmethacrylate with the polystyrene is used. As the PMMA has constitution having no benzene ring, at the time of losing, the carbon is scarcely generated and trouble caused by the carbon is reduced and further, the characteristic is similar to the polystyrene.
