titleOfInvention Transfer belt for copying machine and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the transfer belt for copying machines having good interlayer adhesiveness by laminating an ethylene/propylene ternary copolymer rubber sheet and a polyethylene (PE) film. n CONSTITUTION: The ethylene/propylene ternary copolymer rubber sheet (EDPM sheet) 1 and the PE film 2 are laminated. Fibers 3, such as glass fibers, may be incorporated for the purpose of reinforcement, into the EDPM sheet 1. The EDPM sheet 1 and the PE film 2 are superposed on each other at the temp. below the softening point (about 100°C) of PE, by which both are thermally adhered to each other and are easily integrated. The transfer belt for copying machines consisting of the rubber laminate having excellent resilience and the good interlayer adhesiveness is obtd. in this way. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
