abstract PURPOSE: To reduce the leakage flux from pole shoes, to concentrate the magnetic flux efficiently in a gap, and to facilitate the assembly work along with increasing the magnetic field intensity by, for example, constituting the pole shoes with bulk sections consisting of disklike magnetic substances having protrusions in the central parts, and laminate sections provided on the planes of the bulk sections in the peripheries of the protrusions. n CONSTITUTION: A pair of permanent magnet components 1 opposing to each other forming an air gap 4 are magnetically coupled with a yoke 3, and pole shoes 10 are fixed on the facing-to-the-gap 4 surfaces of both permanent magnet components 1 to generate a magnetic field in the gap 4. The device of this invention is a magnetic field generator of that kind, and the pole shoes 10 are constituted with bulk sections 11 consisting of disklike magnetic substances having protrusions in the central parts, and laminate sections 13 of magnetic thin plates and low-permeability part materials laminated alternately in a vortical shape provided on the planes of the bulk sections 11 in the peripheries of the protrusions 12. Besides, annular protrusions 14 are provided on the peripheral parts of the magnetic pole shoes 10 on the side of the air gap 4. For example, the above-mentioned laminate sections 13 are made by rolling a high-permeability thin plate like a silicon steel plate and a sticky tape of a low-permeability part material in a toroidal shape, in the peripheries of the central protrusions 12 of the bulk sections 11 made of electro-magnetic soft-iron. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
