titleOfInvention New medicine composition enabling regeneration of leukocyte, medicine, and its application to treatment of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a medicine composition containing 9-amino-1,2,3,4- tetrahydroacridine as an active ingredient, and useful for regenerating the T 4 lymphocytes of a patient expressing acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or for increasing the number of the T 4 lymphocytes. n CONSTITUTION: This medicine composition comprises a compound selected from the free base or acid adduct salt of 9-(or 5-)amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroacridine or formula I and its biological precursor and an inactive and non-toxic pharmacological acceptable carrier or vehicle or their mixture or combination. Examples of the biological precursor includes a new compound of formula II (A, B are each H, an acyl residue of an aliphatic or aromatic organic carboxylic acid, a lower alkyl, alcoylidene or arylidene; X is H, an alkyl, an alkoxy, a halogen, OH, phenyl, etc.), and a compound of the formula III (R 1 , R 2 are each alkyl, a monocyclic aryl, a monocyclic heterocyclic group). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
