titleOfInvention Catalyst for olefin polymerization
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a high activity catalyst for olefin polymerization that indicates high stereoregularity by constituting it of the reaction product of an Al-alkyl compound, a specified ether having plural ether groups, and a specified solid catalyst component. n CONSTITUTION: (A) An Al-alkyl compound (example: triethyl aluminumn), (B) an ether having ether groups which can form a complex with anhydrous MgCl 2 in standard reaction conditions when it exists in an amount of less than 60 millimole per 100 g of MgCl 2 (example: 2,2-diisobutyl-1,3-dimethoxypropane), (C) a solid catalyst component which contains a titanium compound containing at least one Ti-halogen linkage which is supported on active type magnesium dihalide and an electron donor compound at least 70 mole % of which can be extracted by triethyl aluminum and has a surface area after extraction greater than 20 m 2 /g are prepared. The components A, B, C are reacted, and a catalyst for olefin polymerization is prepared using the reaction product as a main component. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
