abstract PURPOSE: To provide a phospholipase A 2 inhibitor containing sclerotiorin as an active component. n CONSTITUTION: The objective agent is produced by using sclerotiorin of formula as an active component, properly compounding conventional raw materials for drug preparation and forming to the form of drug by conventional process. It can be used in the form of capsule, microcapsule, tablet, granule, powder, troche, pill, ointment, suppository, injection, syrup, etc. Daily dose is 0.5-2,000mg and the effective dose is 0.1-40mg per 1kg body-weight.
