titleOfInvention Monoclonal antibody nny128
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a monoclonal antibody which is a monoclonal antibody capable recognizing a specific glycopeptide and sufficiently reacting with human intestinal cancer tissues and peripheral parts thereof without reacting with numeral tissues at all. CONSTITUTION:A monoclonal antibody capable of recognizing a glycopeptide having a structure expressed by formula I, II or III (R is N-acetylgalactosamine; A is amino acid residue; B is amino acid sequence). A hybridoma secreting the above-mentioned antibody can be obtained by subjecting splenic cells prepared from a mouse immunized by administering human cancerous cell LS180 into the abdominal cavity and myelomatous cells to cell fusion according to a conventional method and selecting a clone capable of producing an antibody having reactivity with saccharide chains of mucin type glycopeptide previously prepared from the LS180 cells. The above-mentioned hybridoma is named Hybridoma NNY128 and deposited as FERM BP-2330.
