titleOfInvention | Method for isolating stereoisomer of 2,3-trans-1,4-crosslinked cyclohexane based sulfonamide derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain the title compound useful as an intermediate by subjecting an addition product obtained by reacting isomer mixture of 2,3- trans-1,4-crosslinked cyclohexane based sulfonamide derivative with an anionoid reagent, etc., at a specific pH to acid treatment. n CONSTITUTION: Trans/cis mixture of a compound expressed by formula I (R is hydroxy, lower alkoxy, etc.; Y is methylene, etc.; m is 0 or 1; n is 0, 1 or 2; wavy line is α- or β-coordination) is reacted with an anionoid reagent or carbonyl reagent at pH3-7. Then the reaction product is separated in the form of trans body as an addition product of the reagent and the resultant addition product is treated with an alkali (e.g. NaOH) or an acid and the trans body is recovered to isolate the stereoisomer expressed by formula II. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio |
