titleOfInvention Gas feeding device for respiration
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent condensation of water in an extension tube by a method wherein a conduit means is covered with a layer formed by a fiber assembly. n CONSTITUTION: A pressure fluctuation type adsorption type oxygen enriching device 1 incorporating an adsorbing bed filled with an adsorbent having nitrogen selection adsorptivity, a compressor, an automatic valve for switching, and a humidifier is used as an oxygen enriched gas generating means, An extension tube 2 is coupled to an oxygen enriched gas take-out port 4, and a nose cannula 3 is mounted to the tip thereof. The extension tube 2 is formed such that the outer surface of a tube 5 made of polyvinylchloride is covered with a substance 6 formed by knitting aromatic polyamide fibers. This device suppresses the generation of waterdrops in the extension tube through coverage with a relatively low cost fiber layer, and enables to safely and reliably feed a gas for respiration. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
